The Most Beautiful Beaches in Mallorca
Caló des Moro
Caló des Moro is located in southeast Mallorca. An idyllic beach surrounded by high cliffs. Thanks to its location between the rocks, the power of the water is not very large here, so you can jump into the azure water with confidence. Take your snorkel gear and definitely discover the underwater world at Caló des Moro. On the light-colored sand you enjoy a beautiful view and you lie comfortably on your towel with a good book. The beach has no facilities, so make sure you bring enough food and drinks to get through the day.
Playa Es Trenc
Playa Es Trenc is one of the larger southern beaches on Mallorca. With a length of 2 kilometers, many people enjoy themselves every day at this location. It does mean that sometimes you have to walk a little further before you find a quiet spot, but that’s not a problem at Playa Es Trenc.
The beach is not located at a resort, so the natural environment looks a lot more unspoiled than in other parts of the island. You will find, thanks to the popularity, some beach bars and in the high season also lifeguards. A frequently heard advice? Bring food and drinks yourself, because those beach bars are not exactly cheap. When you mainly look for a beach bar to get away from the sun, there are various groups of trees on the outskirts of Playa Es Trenc that offer shelter.
There are also several beautiful beaches in the north of Mallorca, of which Cala Formentor is one. On the way to the Formentor peninsula, of which the beach is part, you will pass several spectacular viewpoints. The beach itself is also a picture to look at. Cala Formentor is a natural beach surrounded by forests and that provides a particularly beautiful sight. You will therefore find shelter on the beach under the trees. For optimal enjoyment of the weather, lay your towel on the fine sand and take a dip in the clear, refreshing water from time to time. It is good to know that Cala Formentor has become quite popular, which means that you want to head for the beach early in the morning for the most beautiful places.

Almost the entire area is easy to visit via the hiking trails, but there are also roads that you can visit by car. The mountainous landscape of Mallorca not only provides beautiful views and viewpoints, but also breathtaking valleys. The Boquer valley is not too far from the city of Port de Pollença, which means that most visitors from this city will discover the valley.
The landscape of the Boquer Valley looks rough, which makes it photogenic. When the weather is not so sunny, the valley automatically looks a lot more mysterious. Walk through the mountain village and enjoy the beautiful views of the hilly landscape. After your discovery tour you can go to one of the terraces in Valldesmossa for a refreshing drink.
