I’ll always think Amsterdam is a great city to visit and, of course, its one of the best places to visit in the Netherlands. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re looking to take in the views, go sightseeing, learn more about Dutch history, stroll along the beautiful canals, or sample some tasty food. However, it’s not a cheap city to stay in, especially when it comes to finding budget hotels in Amsterdam City Centre, where all the major attractions are.

For a long time, I was bothered by the fact that so many bad hotels dared ask exorbitant prices for subpar service. Fortunately, this has been changing majorly in the last few years as more hotels open their doors and ask for decent rates.
